Responsibilities
- Support the Essential Maintenance Provider with interpretation and implementation of the SkyWest GMM as needed.
- Work closely with the Heavy Maintenance Technical Representative Group and the Essential Maintenance Provider to acquire parts/spares required for Heavy Maintenance Program Projects.
- Communicate with and assist the Essential Maintenance Provider Purchasing Group.
- Track and manage all “Canned” Aircraft Parts using an Excel sheet and perform SkyTrack functions.
- Report Canned Parts to Spares Department Supervisors and Management.
- Prepare for and attend daily Heavy Maintenance Spares meetings.
- Attend Pre-draw meetings for incoming aircraft.
- Aid in planning and preparing parts/spares for Heavy Maintenance Program Projects.
- Ensure removed Serialized Components are returned to the SkyWest Spares Department in a timely manner.
- Update the No Buy List and request purchases and expedites of parts as needed.
- Manage the removal of serialized components and ensure they are returned to the SkyWest Spares Department in a timely manner.
- Prepare for and attend daily Heavy Maintenance Spares meetings.
- Assist in planning and preparing parts/spares for Heavy Maintenance Program Projects.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old or older.
- A valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver's license.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Licensed to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Parts Clerk experience or experience in a similar industry.
- An aptitude for the duties in this position.
- Comprehension of policies, procedures, and industry requirements regarding Spares Support for Essential Maintenance.
- Strong work habits and teamwork skills.
- Good communication, organizational, and people skills.
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
- Comfortable working with various computer programs.
- Working knowledge of Excel and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
- Able to work effectively with on-site SkyWest Heavy MX Technical Representatives, Essential Maintenance Providers, and Spares Department.
- Willingness to travel as needed for Heavy Maintenance Spares Support.
Skills
- Ability to lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Flexible schedule; the schedule is subject to change.
- Able to work holidays, mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
Benefits
The position offers a starting hourly wage of $18.33 and is a full-time position. It is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
