Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
- 5 consecutive workdays followed by 2 consecutive days off
- Weekend availability required; schedules do not include both Saturday and Sunday off
- Open availability to work any shift
About the role
The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling, defueling, and servicing of aircraft. This role involves performing basic mathematical calculations related to weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions. You will maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner
- Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft
- Ensure accurate accounting of fuel transactions
- Conduct daily Quality Control checks on equipment and maintain it in clean, functional condition
- Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel
- Defuel aircraft as directed
- Adhere to safety, security, and compliance protocols, including the company’s Substance Misuse Policy
Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
- Perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Lift and move up to 70 lbs without accommodation
- Work primarily outdoors in all weather conditions
- Available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Prior experience preferred, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
