About the role
This role involves installing, operating, testing, and removing aircraft engines, engine components, and other assemblies in test stands. Responsibilities also include making necessary test connections and installing/removing test equipment as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and activities surrounding the assembling, disassembling, rework, repair, inspection, and testing of experimental test articles, production units, and related support equipment.
Requirements
- FAA issued Powerplant license is required.
- Holding both licenses (FAA Airframe & Powerplant licenses) is preferred.
- Candidate must show that the license is in good standing with the FAA and have the ability to pass a Rolls-Royce vision test.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of shop math and be willing to learn and apply new skills.
- Normal shop conditions. Works around moving machinery, flammable fluids, high pressures and temperatures, and may be subjected to excessive noise.
- May be required to work from a raised platform.
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications include a US Citizenship.
Skills
- Experience in either automotive or aircraft mechanics.
- Thorough knowledge of shop math.

Pay
Hourly rate: 37.99
Schedule
Union hourly position with a 9/80 work schedule.
