Air Quality - Assistant Project Manager

About the role

You will join our team of air quality experts in our Philadelphia, PA office as an Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC).

Responsibilities

• Performing engineering calculations
• Compiling permit application documents
• Meting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information
• Communicating with agency personnel
• Evaluating control technologies for client facilities
• Working closely with our Project Managers in air services projects
• Coordinating with other practices (including geotechnical engineering, environmental, ecological, and other practices) to address project-specific needs
• Mentoring junior staff on technical items
• Attending industry organization and client meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, compliance, or industry experience
• Knowledge of various State and USEPA air quality regulations
• Experience with air emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
