About the role
You will join our team of air quality experts in our Philadelphia, PA office as an Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC).
Responsibilities
- Performing engineering calculations
- Compiling permit application documents
- Meting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information
- Communicating with agency personnel
- Evaluating control technologies for client facilities
- Working closely with our Project Managers in air services projects
- Coordinating with other practices (including geotechnical engineering, environmental, ecological, and other practices) to address project-specific needs
- Mentoring junior staff on technical items
- Attending industry organization and client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, compliance, or industry experience
- Knowledge of various State and USEPA air quality regulations
- Experience with air emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
