Job Summary
You will dispatch all transport activity, serve as the general communicator for our Flight For Life program, maintain the database, and coordinate transfer center activity.
Responsibilities
- Meticulously dispatch all air medical transport activities
- Maintain comprehensive databases
- Oversight of transfer center activities
- Maintain meticulous organization and swift communication
- Ensure seamless coordination and critical information dissemination
- Safeguard operational efficiency and patient safety
Required Job Requirements
- International Association of Medical Transport Communication Specialists (IAMTCS) CFC Course Completion within 18 months of employment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in EMS-related field or dispatching experience for a public service agency (Air, Medical, Fire, Police, or EMS)
- Excellent computer skills
- Customer service skills
- Navigational and medical terminology knowledge
- Able to multi-task
- Knowledge of FCC Rules and Regulations for communication system in use
- Ability to accurately operate and file information into mapping software, patch-matrix, and Flight For Life communication center database
- Excellent customer service via phone and radio technology with requesting agencies and referring facilities
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work (prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
Preferred
- Emergency Medical Technician Credential

Pay Range
$25.50 - $43.26 /hour
