Job Description
- Oversee daily air gateway and export operations to ensure alignment with company objectives, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Cook up end-to-end air gateway and export activities, including shipment planning, routing strategies, carrier selection, documentation flow, and delivery coordination.
- Evaluate operational requirements and determine appropriate transportation solutions that balance service quality, cost efficiency, and transit time.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex operational, service, and compliance-related issues, independently identifying and implementing effective resolutions.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards, including TSA, CBP, IATA, and internal company procedures.
- Collaborate with carriers, airlines, vendors, and international agents to secure service solutions, capacity, and routing arrangements.
- Review and support pricing, routing, and service options to ensure optimal operational and customer outcomes.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
- Develop, refine, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent and compliant operational execution.
- Partner with internal teams including Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Leadership to design and implement logistics solutions for key accounts.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on air export processes, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth and compliant freight movement.
- Conduct periodic reviews of operational processes and documentation to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Support customer relationships and serve as a senior operational resource for complex shipments and service requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to management to support continuous improvement and business objectives.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in air export, freight forwarding, or international logistics operations
- Experience of bonded freight and cargo
- Strong knowledge of international air freight regulations and industry standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global logistics environment
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
