Job Summary St. Francis Borgia Grade School, a vibrant Catholic school community in the heart of Washington, is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Aide - Aftercare to supervise students in the school's aftercare program. The Aftercare Aide plays a key role in providing a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for students after school hours. Job Responsibilities Supervise and engage with students during after-school hours in a safe and supportive setting.Organizing activities, games, and snacks for children ranging from preschool through 8th grade.Monitor student behavior and ensure compliance with school and program guidelines.Support a positive, faith-filled environment that reflects the values of St. Francis Borgia School.Help with cleanup and maintaining a tidy, organized space at the end of each session.Communicate any concerns or incidents to the Aftercare Director in a timely manner.Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Job Requirements Experience working with children in a school, daycare, camp, or similar setting preferred.Ability to manage groups of children in a calm, nurturing, and effective manner.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Must be dependable, patient, and flexible.Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.Completion of Archdiocesan Safe Environment training and background screening required.
