Aide - Extended Care

Job Summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide active supervision of students participating in the Extended Care Program. - Ensure the safety, well-being, and security of all students at all times. - Monitor student attendance, arrivals, dismissals, and parent/guardian pick-up procedures. - Enforce school and Extended Care Program rules and behavioral expectations consistently and fairly. - Respond appropriately to student needs, illnesses, injuries, and emergencies in accordance with school policies and procedures. - Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and recreational opportunities. - Supervise homework and quiet study periods, providing guidance and encouragement as needed. - Support indoor and outdoor activities while maintaining a safe environment. - Assist with snack distribution and cleanup following program guidelines. - Prepare and maintain activity areas and supplies.
