AIA Billing Specialist

We are seeking a Staff Accountant (AIA Billing) to join our dynamic and innovative Accounting + Finance team. This role is pivotal in driving our company's financial health and making sure we continue to grow at a rapid pace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in Microsoft 365, collections, billing, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the AI billing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Conduct collection activities to ensure the timely receipt of invoice payments
• Use Microsoft 365 to manage and analyze financial data, create financial reports, and provide recommendations based on your findings
• Collaborate with the finance team to review and improve financial processes and systems
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide support for the annual audit process
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365, collections, billing, and account reconciliations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application
• Proficient in the use of AI and automation tools in the finance industry
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large amounts of data

Pay

$55,000 - $65,000 per year
