AI Technical Project Manager
About the Role
Los Angeles based Internet Brands is seeking a Technical Project Manager with AI / data science experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is a project manager who combines prioritization genius with organizational prowess, thrives in an in-office environment five days a week, and drives results by focusing on outcomes over bureaucracy. You engage the right players, remove bottlenecks, and keep projects moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Manage AI / data science, analytics, and web-related projects.
- Work with multiple disciplines to drive projects from concept to launch.
- Scope, define, and document tasks to fulfill the project vision.
- Develop and communicate project roadmaps.
- Keep business owners updated on project status and potential issues.
- Resolve project, design, or resource issues before they cause delays.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a software technical project manager role, or equivalent experience leading distributed development teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with projects involving AI / data science.
- Understanding of project processes (scheduling, documentation, risk analysis, requirements gathering, and contingency planning).
- Deep understanding of the development process, including development, testing, and deployment, as well as work breakdown, dependencies, responsibilities (full SDLC), and AGILE/SCRUM methodologies.
- Consumer-facing web or health-related company experience is a plus.

Pay
We expect the compensation for this role to be around the low-mid $100ks, varying based on your background and experience.
