About the role
This position is for an Assembly, Integration & Test Technician. Primary responsibilities will include working with and learning from more experienced technicians in complex mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness build, inspection, and test. We are looking for team members who are excited about being part of a close-knit team, passionate about space systems, and have the desire to continuously learn and improve.
Responsibilities
- Inspection, assembly, integration, and operational checkout of flight hardware
Requirements
- Motivated to grow within complex manufacturing settings
- Self-starter and quick learner
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Mechanical aptitude: ability to utilize hand tools and precision tools
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work in restrictive spaces
- Ability to obtain Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P License
- IPC & J-STD Certifications
- 2 Year Technical Degree
- Experience in harness assembly
- Experienced forklift operations
- Comfortable operating within the Microsoft Office Suite
- Currently a contractor for York Space Systems builds
