AI Strategy and Delivery Lead

Role Overview

AI is easy to pilot and hard to embed. This role exists to bridge that gap. We're looking for an individual who can lead senior stakeholders, align on AI’s role, and ensure tools are adopted, governed, and trusted.

About the role

This role sets the direction, gets the organization to move, deploys and governs AI solutions, and measures their success.

Responsibilities

• Works with leadership to identify where AI adds value across the organization and develops a prioritized, realistic roadmap.
• Builds genuine agreement across business units, IT, HR, and other internal departments.
• Facilitates user story development, manages the pilots-to-scale pipeline, and ensures ethical, legal, and security compliance.
• Measures AI’s effectiveness through real KPIs, usage data, and regular reporting to leadership and governance forums.

Requirements

• Experience deploying enterprise technology, not just writing specs.
• Understanding of generative AI, copilots, agents, automation, and LLMs.
• Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to run agile delivery processes independently.
• Experience with governance, including data privacy, security principles, and managing AI risk.

• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and able to simplify without dumbing down.
• Judgment to know when to push and when to listen.
• Confidence to challenge leadership based on data.
