About the Role

Responsible for performing technical tasks in support of AI-enabled solutions, automation, data-informed process improvements, and digital tools that align with Constellation’s business objectives. This role applies technical principles to develop, test, implement, and improve AI-driven solutions while supporting the adoption of AI within Constellation Generation. The position involves identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance consistency through collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks under general supervision, applying engineering principles to AI-enabled solutions, automation, data analysis, workflow improvement, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and PowerBI reporting.
• Ensure AI, automation, data, and engineering products comply with safety analyses, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity standards, data governance, responsible AI guidance, and approved business processes.
• Participate in the development, implementation, deployment, adoption, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions, Copilot agents, workflow automations, and related digital tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering personnel, IT, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance partners to ensure solutions are practical, maintainable, secure, and aligned with Constellation standards.
• Recommend improvements to standard tools, workflows, and procedures for better usability and efficiency.
• Perform additional job assignments as directed, including emergency response duties, department coverage, and support for outage activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience, OR Associate’s degree in the same fields with 4+ years of experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience.
• 2+ years of experience with AI, automation, and data-related tools, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt design, data quality, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and other low-code solutions.
• Must meet minimum access requirements and maintain a favorable medical examination/testing status as applicable to the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework, internship, co-op, or project experience involving LLMs, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Claude, Power Platform, Power Automate, data analytics, or similar AI/automation tools.
• Relevant certifications for Microsoft Power Platform or Azure.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Exposure to power plants, energy, utilities, industrial, or other highly regulated operating environments.

Pay

Expected salary range of $111,600 to $124,000, varying based on experience.
