AI Solutions Engineer

About the role

Baker Tilly is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to build intelligent, autonomous solutions that streamline business processes and integrate with enterprise systems. The role offers flexibility, career growth, and collaboration with clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, and build applications and infrastructure components for hosting solutions
• Develop utilities, tools, data fixes, and Sage Intacct page‑level customizations for implementation projects
• Communicate effectively with internal staff, external vendors, and client development teams
• Invest in personal professional development through firm‑wide learning programs
• Support growth and development of team members via the Care and Teach philosophy
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver AI‑enabled services
• Participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs
• Engage in social activities and team outings to promote work‑life balance

Requirements

• 5+ years developing applications in a cloud‑based environment (AWS)
• Hands‑on experience designing and developing AI/Agent‑based solutions
• Experience optimizing AI solutions for token efficiency and performance
• Experience integrating data between systems using APIs
• Hands‑on experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code
• Strong understanding of AWS architecture, containers, serverless, security, networking
• Experience with Python and JavaScript development
• Experience with databases (RDBMS, NoSQL)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
