At Siemens, we help organizations transform maintenance and operations through connected insights, AI-powered technology, and intelligent asset management solutions. Our software enables customers to manage the full lifecycle of assets, facilities, and infrastructure while improving efficiency, reducing risk, and optimizing long-term investments. By connecting data, people, and processes, we empower organizations to make smarter decisions, maximize asset performance, and achieve more resilient operations.

About the role

We are seeking an AI Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions that transform how our internal teams work. In this role, you will partner with business functions across the company, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Human Resources, and internal operations teams, to identify high-value opportunities, architect scalable solutions using generative AI and intelligent automation, and drive measurable improvements in productivity and efficiency.

You will serve as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and our IT, data, and security organizations, shaping the company’s internal AI adoption strategy and turning promising ideas into production-grade capabilities that employees rely on every day. In everything you do, you will take full ownership of outcomes, execute with urgency and follow-through, solve problems resourcefully, and bring genuine curiosity to a fast-moving AI landscape.

This is a remotely based role in the U.S. Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI solutions, including large language model (LLM) applications, intelligent agents, and workflow automation, that improve productivity across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, HR, and internal operations
  • Deliver function-specific AI use cases such as lead prioritization, proposal drafting, and CRM automation for Sales; content generation, campaign personalization, and market research for Marketing; recruiting support, onboarding assistants, and employee self-service for HR; and process automation, reporting, and workflow optimization for internal operations
  • Partner with business stakeholders, treating internal teams as your customers, to identify and prioritize high-value use cases, translate business needs into technical requirements, and maintain a roadmap for enterprise AI adoption
  • Architect secure, scalable integrations between AI platforms and enterprise systems such as CRM, marketing automation, ERP, HRIS, and contact center technologies, establishing reusable patterns and responsible AI guardrails for data privacy, security, and governance in close collaboration with IT, data, and cybersecurity teams
  • Build rapid prototypes and proofs of concept, evaluate results against business outcomes, and guide successful pilots through to production deployment and ongoing operation
  • Champion adoption with genuine enthusiasm, enabling teams through training, documentation, and best practices, and by measuring and communicating productivity gains and return on investment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of technical work experience, including 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, software engineering, or data/AI roles, including hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/ML or generative AI solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency with LLM platforms and APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and modern integration technologies such as REST APIs, Python, and major cloud platforms
  • Experience integrating with enterprise business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS, or customer service platforms) and working with the data that powers them
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, marked by candor, clarity, and empathy, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and influence across functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agentic AI development tools such as Claude Code, workflow automation platforms such as n8n, or MLOps/LLMOps practices for monitoring and continuously improving AI solutions in production
  • Cloud or AI certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture or AI/ML certifications)
  • Familiarity with responsible AI principles, data privacy regulations, and enterprise security and compliance requirements
  • A track record of driving change management and user adoption for new technologies across diverse business teams
  • Curiosity and resilience, with a passion for staying current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape, experimenting quickly, and applying what you learn to real business problems

Benefits

At Siemens, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career while helping organizations operate smarter, safer, and more sustainably. We foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, where employees are empowered to make a difference every day.
