About the role

As an AI software engineer, you will develop user-focused solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and facilitate better decision-making. Your responsibilities will involve creating and implementing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that modernize client systems, ensuring that these solutions are adaptable to future functionalities and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI and machine learning solutions that improve client systems
  • Evaluate and refine experimental tooling to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable solutions
  • Ensure solutions align with broader ecosystem and environmental considerations
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of software development workflows and best practices

Requirements

  • Experience with advanced software engineering in multiple modern programming languages
  • Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs), developer tools, and build/test systems
  • Experience with AI or large language model (LLM)-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents
  • Knowledge of software development workflows and best practices
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in software engineering, or 16+ years of experience in lieu of a degree

Skills

  • Experience with automated code review or static analysis tools
  • Experience with developer platforms or internal engineering enablement teams
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience developing VS Code extensions such as TypeScript or Electron
  • Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks or orchestration systems

Pay

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $86,800 to $198,000 (annualized USD). The actual salary will be determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
