Position Summary
GadellNet is seeking an AI Process Consultant (APC) to embed directly inside client businesses. The APC will uncover operational friction, design workflows, and partner with AI Engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed directly with clients for discovery, interviewing operators, observing workflows, and mapping current-state processes.
- Build the business case for each engagement, quantifying costs, modeling ROI, and prioritizing automation opportunities.
- Design future-state workflows in detail, including process diagrams, decision logic, exception handling, and integration touchpoints.
- Partner with an AI Engineer throughout the build, translating client requirements into technical specs, validating outputs, and managing trade-offs.
- Lead change management on the client side, aligning stakeholders, developing communication plans, and overseeing adoption.
- Own the client relationship end-to-end, managing expectations, providing status updates, handling escalations, and facilitating executive readouts.
- Run post-deployment business reviews to measure impact, identify follow-on opportunities, and build the case for expansion.
- Contribute by codifying reusable discovery frameworks, ROI models, workflow templates, and industry playbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in management consulting, deployment strategy, technical program management, operations, or a similar client-facing strategic role.
- Demonstrated track record of driving complex projects to measurable outcomes in client or stakeholder-facing environments.
- Strong analytical foundation, comfortable with spreadsheets, ROI modeling, basic SQL, and quantitative reasoning. Python literacy is a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of modern AI capabilities and the ability to scope realistic AI solutions.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to run interviews with operators and executives.
- Problem-solving approach to identifying and addressing operational friction.
Preferred Skills
- Prior consulting experience at a top firm or a deployment-strategy / forward-deployed role at a software company.
- Experience leading process re-engineering, workflow automation, or digital transformation engagements.
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and major SaaS systems.
- Experience working with SMB clients across industries such as professional services, healthcare, logistics, or retail.
