What You'll Do

• Find and build partnerships with teams across the company to identify areas where AI can enhance workflows and automate tasks.
• Develop and deploy production-grade AI agents and workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic Claude API, integrating them with existing tools like BigQuery, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.
• Create shared infrastructure necessary for the entire team, including connectors, reusable skills and templates, retrieval and memory layers, and governance standards.
• Drive adoption of AI solutions by documenting them, training users, and ensuring they are easily accessible and trusted.
• Measure the success of AI implementations and continuously iterate to maximize efficiency gains.
• Ensure that all AI solutions are designed with responsibility and ethical considerations in mind, incorporating features for safety, auditability, and data governance.

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience in software, applied AI, data, or automation engineering, with a focus on moving solutions from prototypes to production.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents that perform multi-step actions and integrate with various systems.
• Comfortable working with Python and APIs, capable of handling complex system integrations and prompt engineering.
• Experience with modern agent build surfaces such as Claude Code, Anthropic Claude API, Google Vertex AI, or similar platforms.
• A strong systems thinker who anticipates potential issues and failure points in AI workflows.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining the capabilities and limitations of AI.
• Able to balance innovation with practicality and measure the impact of AI solutions.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with relevant industry experience preferred.
• Experience in the Atlassian ecosystem or building automations for operations, go-to-market, or finance teams is a plus.
