AI/ML Strategist

About the role

The AI/ML Strategist will implement and manage governance frameworks for AI/ML models, ensuring responsible AI practices and compliance with ethical principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage governance frameworks for AI/ML models, including model ownership, approvals, API access, and Tier-4 governance support.
• Ensure responsible AI practices throughout the organization.
• Develop and enforce policies for model development, validation, and deployment.
• Establish review and approval processes for AI/ML models.
• Implement access controls for model APIs and services.
• Create and maintain model inventories and documentation.
• Develop standards for model performance monitoring and evaluation.
• Establish procedures for model updates and versioning.
• Evaluate and implement tools for model governance and compliance.
• Train teams on model governance procedures.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on AI/ML risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of relevant experience)
• 8 years of experience designing and implementing AI/ML governance frameworks for enterprise-scale environments
• Demonstrated expertise with responsible AI practices, model risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies
• Experience with governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks

Pay

The base pay range for this position in the specified locations is $106,300—$221,100 USD.
