About the role

CGI is seeking an AI/ML Integration Specialist to support SAF/AQX and provide specialized technical support for Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration. The integration specialist will assist the Government in seamlessly incorporating Department of War (DoW) approved existing and emerging AI capabilities into the enterprise's current toolset and infrastructure, ensuring operational effectiveness, security, and alignment with mission goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical analysis regarding the use of commercial and government provided Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies
  • Identify and evaluate existing AI tools for integration suitability
  • Analyze current system architectures to determine optimal AI integration points
  • Draft technical roadmaps to support phased AI adoption
  • Identify and document potential risks, interoperability challenges, and resource requirements associated with AI integration projects
  • Assist in managing the data flow between existing systems and integrated AI models to ensure data readiness
  • Support data mapping and schema alignment strategies between source systems and AI tools
  • Provide technical inputs and design support for modifying data pipelines to meet AI requirements
  • Draft proposed procedures for data quality, security, and compliance to ensure data is fit for AI consumption
  • Provide technical coordination and execution support for the AI integration process
  • Assist technical teams with configuring APIs and data connectors for AI services
  • Document and define technical requirements for interfacing with AI models (excluding the development of the models themselves)
  • Validate that integrated AI solutions align with intended user workflows and operational needs
  • Perform testing, validation, and performance monitoring for integrated AI systems
  • Assist with the design and documentation of technical frameworks to monitor and verify AI components, ensuring they remain secure, usable, and perform in accordance with established parameters
  • Develop draft test and evaluation criteria to help the Government validate integrated AI systems meet operational and mission objectives
  • Perform ongoing technical monitoring and system evaluations to identify security vulnerabilities, prevent performance degradation, and verify the accuracy, safety, and reliability of AI driven outputs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Master's or bachelor's with equivalent experience (Computer Science, Data Science)
  • US Citizenship and active Secret clearance required
  • AWS Machine Learning Specialty and TensorFlow Developer certifications and expertise
  • AI Engineer with Context Engineering experience
  • Occasional travel may be required in support of the mission

Pay

$113,400.00 – $245,500.00
