AI Innovation Specialist
About the role
The AI Innovation Specialist is part of an AI-native early talent track focused on building future-ready talent capable of applying AI, data, and structured problem-solving to real-world business challenges. This role prioritizes capability, learning agility, and output over traditional years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify and automate manual workflows using AI tools and process optimization techniques
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and insights
- Develop prompts, automation workflows, and AI-assisted solutions for business use cases
- Support cross-functional projects across AI, Product, Operations, and Revenue Cycle teams
- Break down ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and actionable solutions
- Translate data insights into clear, business-facing recommendations
- Participate in pilot programs and innovation initiatives focused on efficiency and transformation
- Document processes, best practices, and repeatable AI-enabled workflows
- Maintain strong execution discipline with proactive communication on progress, risks, and blockers
AI and Technical Responsibilities
- Utilize AI tools as part of daily workflow for research, analysis, and automation
- Develop proficiency in prompt engineering, automation, and AI-assisted analytics
- Continuously assess emerging AI tools and recommend practical use cases
- Contribute to internal AI capability building and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Demonstrated use of AI tools or automation in projects or academic work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with data and derive insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Excel, dashboards, or analytics tools
- Exposure to process improvement or operational workflows
- Internship, fellowship, or project-based experience
- Exposure to healthcare, operations, or revenue cycle environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience. 0–2 years or equivalent demonstrated capability.
Pay
Specialist I: $60,000 – $75,000 | Specialist II: $75,000 – $95,000 | Bonus: 5–10%
