AI in Operations Strategy and Transformation Office - Senior Associate
About the role
The AI in Operations program is a cross-firm initiative with the strategic goals of driving AI impact at scale across the Operations teams. This program consists of Domain Product teams owning expansion of common capabilities and the Strategy and Transformation Office, which drives the Scaling and Reimagination teams, executive reporting, and strategic direction into new Domains and Capabilities. Working closely with AI teams across the firm, the program ensures efficient, thoughtful, and innovative use of AI solutions across the Operations space.
The newly formed Transformation Office functions as a strategic accelerator, driving strategy and execution of AI initiatives with a focus on leading and accelerating the implementation of the AI in Operations program. It provides standardization and transparency into Operations AI use cases across the firm. Given the importance and scale of this transformation, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities
- Develop innovative solutions to transform the business model and product offering
- Develop an understanding of innovation in financial services, particularly emerging technologies (e.g., AI/LLM, ML, RPA) to help reimagine the future of D&PS
- Prepare for and actively participate in meetings; interject and engage in stakeholder interviews to gather baseline information and clarify or execute follow-up requests
- Support multiple project work streams
- Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues
- Manage deadlines and timeframes, proactively escalating issues as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with a premier strategy consulting firm, internal strategy consulting or corporate strategy team, leading technology company, or AI-related start-up
- Demonstrated experience with a consulting toolkit or a broad range of analytical tools and problem-solving approaches
- Strong client management and executive-level communication skills
- Track record of demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and entrepreneurial leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry or AI-related field
- MBA or an advanced business degree from a top-tier program
