AI Foundry Platform Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a AI Foundry Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will focus on building and supporting secure AI platform capabilities on Azure, with an emphasis on reliable deployment patterns, private connectivity, and enterprise integration. The engineer will help enable model-based solutions in regulated environments while improving observability, operational readiness, and supportability. In partnership with application, network, identity, and cloud teams, this person will help ensure AI services are delivered safely, efficiently, and at scale. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $117,000 – $177,000 annually Responsibilities Configure and support Azure AI Foundry projects and model deployments Implement private networking and access control integrations Build monitoring and reporting systems for usage and costs Support secure integration between AI services and enterprise systems Automate environment configurations for efficient deployment processes Create operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides for support teams Qualifications 5+ years of Azure engineering experience, including networking and secure PaaS delivery Experience with Azure AI Foundry and similar AI application platforms Proven ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers, including application, network, identity, and cloud Hands-on scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python Familiarity with Azure Government or regulated-environment delivery preferred Benefits Diverse opportunities for career growth through impactful projects Support for unique client needs as part of the initial project assignment Emphasis on teamwork through collaborative problem solving and conflict resolution Commitment to transparency in the hiring process Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
