AI Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Provision and configure the Talk to SPI tenant on the GenAI platform. Configure environment separation such as development, test, staging, and production. Set up tenant-level configuration for data connections, knowledge repositories, semantic assets, retrieval indexes, and platform services. Configure platform parameters required for Talk to SPI use cases, including model endpoints, retrieval settings, logging, access policies, and runtime configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines for Talk to SPI assets.
- Automate deployment of: Knowledge base repository artifacts. Semantic layer configurations. Retrieval specifications. Prompt/context configurations. Platform configuration.
- Implement CI/CD controls for validation, approval, promotion, rollback, and release traceability.
- Ensure automated checks are in place for schema validity, broken references, configuration drift, and deployment readiness.
- Configure secure connectivity between the GenAI platform and Oracle data sources.
- Support integration with metadata repositories, source control, identity providers, observability systems, and deployment pipelines.
- Work with the Data Architect to ensure database connectivity, query execution, and materialized view access are correctly configured.
- Work with the AI Context Engineer to enable indexing and publishing of knowledge repository content.
- Configure authentication, authorization, RBAC, secrets management, and environment-specific access controls.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, audit trails, and operational dashboards.
- Support incident management, platform troubleshooting, deployment issue resolution, and performance tuning.
- Ensure tenant setup aligns with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Experience 5+ years in platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or AI platform operations.
- Experience deploying and operating enterprise AI, data, or analytics platforms.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation, environment management, and production operations.
- Experience supporting secure integration between AI applications and enterprise data systems.
- Programming / Scripting Languages: Python for automation, validation, and platform utilities. Bash / Shell scripting for deployment and operational automation. YAML for pipeline and configuration files. SQL for connectivity testing and platform-to-database validation.
- Systems / Tools: CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent. Experience with Copilot Studio, vector databases, or enterprise RAG platforms. Git-based source control. Secrets management and enterprise identity systems. Container or orchestration platforms, if applicable. Observability tools for logs, metrics, and traces. Oracle connectivity drivers and database access tooling. GenAI platform administration capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to GenAI platforms and LLM-based enterprise solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance-driven data environments.
- Experience With Terraform, PowerShell, Or Other Infrastructure-as-code Scripting.
