About the role
The Value Engineer will own the financial narrative of Leviathan, quantifying value, modeling outcomes, and helping customers, partners, and internal stakeholders understand why Leviathan wins. This role is customer-facing, thesis-driven, and commercially accountable.
Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack financial models for Leviathan deployments, including CapEx / OpEx profiles, IRR, NPV, payback, and sensitivity analyses, energy cost structures, and compute economics.
- Model customer ROI across use cases and quantify macro-level impacts.
- Partner with Sales, BD, and leadership to present Leviathan’s business case to various stakeholders.
- Identify and cultivate financial champions inside customer organizations.
- Support commercial structuring, pricing, and deal terms using data-driven analysis.
- Research and contribute to thought leadership materials shaping company strategy.
Requirements
- Expert-level financial modeling (comfort building models from scratch)
- Ability to translate technical infrastructure into business & financial outcomes
- Confident, customer-ready communicator
- Strong written clarity, able to produce investor-grade decks and memos
- High intellectual honesty; comfortable challenging assumptions
- Entrepreneurial mindset, bias toward action, ownership, and iteration
Qualifications
- Strong background in investment banking or private equity, especially in infrastructure, energy, data centers, or industrials
- Experience presenting deals to investment committees
- Research-driven analysts with deep curiosity about AI, semiconductors, or compute infrastructure
- Experience with data center platforms, neo-cloud operators, and energy-adjacent infrastructure companies
