Job Summary

Fraud team is seeking a hands-on innovation-driven Java Developer who can leverage AI-powered tools across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, build, and scale next-generation Fraud detection solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is a builder and problem-solver, and can innovate at speed and scale.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools for SDLC
• Design, build, and scale next-generation Fraud detection solutions
• Solve green field problems and innovate at acceleration and scale

Requirements

• Commercial experience of core Java programming with strong proficiency
• Strong proficiency in a functional programming language
• Fundamental knowledge of Microservices
• Strong experience with distributed caching (Redis) and relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase IQ)
• Good exposure to middleware (Kafka, MQ)
• Strong experience with distributed systems and infrastructure in a Linux environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively in a global and dynamic team

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Java development

Skills Desired

• Experience in the full software development life cycle
• Experience working in an agile team using Agile and DevOps practices & tools
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems
• Experience with schedulers like Cron, Autosys, Control-M
• Experience with cloud-ready development, Docker containers
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (Python preferred)
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)

Desired Skills

• Experience in Scala and functional programming
