AI & Automations Lead

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure web app hosting infrastructure and centralized pattern libraries
• Own the tracking and advisory process for corporate AI and automation builds
• Partner with AI specialists to develop scalable AI and automation solutions
• Establish a secure intake process for AI requests, replacing ad hoc builds with governance
• Monitor and set thresholds on AI spending to enhance cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical operations, IT, or support roles focusing on systems integration and automation
• Proven experience in developing and shipping AI integrations with tools like n8n or Zapier
• Hands-on experience with large language models and associated systems, including prompt engineering
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially GCP, including secrets management and secure hosting
• Ability to influence across all levels of the organization without formal authority
• Strong risk communication skills, able to explain technical concepts in layman's terms
