Responsibilities
- Aid in the development of long-term strategic plans for AI/RPA integration across ACC A589 directorate and wings.
- Collect and synthesize data to inform AI/RPA adoption strategies and measure mission impact.
- Cook up and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support AI/RPA integration.
- Spot AI/RPA opportunities through direct observation of workflows and user engagement.
- Keep tabs on and evaluate the effectiveness of AI/RPA tools and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Give applied hands-on training to users on AI/RPA tools in A589 mission-relevant contexts.
- Offer technical advisory support on AI/RPA integration, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, and classification requirements.
- Support the prototyping, testing, and transition of AI/RPA solutions into sustained operations.

- Translate technical AI/RPA concepts into A589 mission-relevant guidance for operational users.
- Aid in the development of training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides for AI/RPA tools.
- Coordinate with AI/RPA Solutions Architect to conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Facilitate user-driven innovation challenges (e.g., solution-a-thons, ideation workshops).
- Maintain knowledge repositories and update materials based on user feedback and evolving tool capabilities.
- Participate in governance bodies, technical exchanges, and working groups related to AI/RPA adoption.
Requirements
- Knowledge of AI, RPA, and machine learning concepts and their operational application in DoD/IC mission contexts.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and records management policies applicable to DoD networks (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, AFSCI).
- Knowledge of DoD and Air Force AI ethical principles, data strategies, and governance structures.
- Knowledge of IT integration and secure network operations across classified and unclassified environments.
- Knowledge of performance measurement, KPIs, and mission outcome evaluation.
- Knowledge of Air Force information security, OPSEC, and CUI handling requirements.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI and RPA platforms (e.g., Ask Sage and other DoW derived tools).
- Skills in delivering hands-on, mission-relevant instruction to technical and non-technical users.
- Skills in identifying practical AI/RPA use cases through direct observation and user engagement.
- Skills in prototyping and testing AI/RPA solutions in operational environments.
- Skills in translating complex technical concepts into actionable, user-friendly guidance.
- Skills in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Skills in creating basic knowledge materials, advise on SOP development, and job aids tailored to mission-specific workflows.
- Skills in data analysis and reporting to inform adoption strategies and measure ROIs.
- Skills in using collaboration and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, DAF365).
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify AI/RPA opportunities without waiting to be tasked.
- Ability to adapt support and instruction to each user's proficiency level and mission context.
- Ability to shift fluidly between hands-on coaching, applied instruction, and practical solution development.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including senior leaders, technical personnel, and end users.
- Ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance and comply with all security and operational requirements.
