AHMG Maternal Fetal Medicine - APRN or PA-C

About the role

The employed Maternal Fetal Medicine Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse will be part of a team providing expert care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage maternal and fetal health conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and managing pregnancy complications
• Participate in clinical research studies related to maternal-fetal medicine
• Conduct prenatal consultations and coordinate care with other departments

Requirements

• Masters Degree – Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
• At least 1 year of position-related experience
• Kansas Nurse Practitioner License
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems

Skills

• Knowledge of obstetric and gynecological conditions
• Experience with neonatal care
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective time management and organizational skills
