AHMG Cardiology at Kissimmee APRN or PA-C

About the role

The APRN or PA-C will work under the supervision of the Physician(s) as a collaborative practitioner, performing physical examinations, monitoring cardiology & interventional cardiology patients, and supporting call.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations as needed and monitors cardiology & interventional cardiology patients in the clinic setting in Partin Settlement and Kissimmee: new patient visits, pre-& post-procedure care, follow up
• See patients independently and support call
• Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc
• Makes appropriate referrals to physicians or specialists, as needed
• Collaborates with physician and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
• Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Requirements

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual or fluent in Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge and Skills

• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license or ability to obtain ANCC, AANP or NCCPA certification
• Current BLS and ACLS
• CVNP-BC or CVPA-BC a plus

To cover both Kissimmee and Partin Settlement clinics on scheduled days

Education/Experience

• Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies
• Experience in Cardiology as an Advanced Practice Provider necessary

Candidate must be able to pass a third-party background check and pre-employment drug screen
