AHA Instructor

About the role

Adventure Medics is seeking experienced emergency medical providers to join our team, delivering high-quality education to the public as Instructors with our Training Division. Location: Bend, Oregon. Website: www.advmedics.com. Supervisor: Ian Moore.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical training and education by delivering HSI and AHA courses.
• Prepare for courses beforehand and finalize student certifications after teaching.
• Create safe and fun learning environments for students of all abilities.
• Maintain training materials and equipment.
• Follow all Adventure Medics procedures and protocols.

Requirements

• Hold an active EMT (or higher) certification.
• Current AHA BLS Provider (or higher) certification.
• Experience teaching others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current AHA Instructor certification.
• Wilderness Medicine Experience (Current WFR or WEMT).
• Experience and enjoyment in teaching children.

Pay

$25‑$30 per hour (DOE)
