Agronomy Sales Specialist

Main responsibilities

  • Purposely schedule in person meetings with farmers to develop a professional relationship and learn about their agronomy needs
  • Affiliate with operations to lead, schedule, and follow up with customers
  • Develop agronomy skills and actively seek out opportunities to identify and resolve business and agronomy challenges for customers

What we need from you

  • Minimum of a two or four year degree or equivalent experience in sales or an agriculture related industry
  • Strong agricultural aptitude with experience learning on the job to become an expert
  • Examples of influencing others either in a leadership or sales relationship
  • Strong business skills, including the ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, focus on the customer, and make sound decisions
  • Experience working outside of regular hours to meet and exceed the needs of a customer
