Agronomy Production Assistant

Assist in dry and liquid fertilizer, chemical, seed, and feed blending for Wallowa County Grain Growers' Agronomy department. This position also involves loading and delivery of products, facility and equipment maintenance, and occasional office responsibilities such as customer service and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret fertilizer, feed, and seed batch sheets to create custom blends.
• Load company and customer trucks with completed orders and accurate delivery tickets.
• Conduct maintenance of Wallowa County Grain Growers' Agronomy equipment and facility and maintain accurate records.
• Occasionally supervise seasonal production employees.
• Maintain a clean driving record and hold or obtain a class A CDL.
• Effectively communicate with the Agronomy Department Manager.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
• Previous agricultural cooperative or agricultural-related experience (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organization skills.
• High attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking and billing.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to commute or relocate to Enterprise, OR 97828 before starting work (preferred).

USD 18.00 - 25.00 per hour
