Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on agricultural equipment and related systemsTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, drivetrain, engine, and precision agriculture systemsAccurately identify needed repairs and communicate findings to the Service ManagerComplete repairs efficiently while meeting quality and safety standardsMaintain detailed and accurate labor and service recordsRecommend additional maintenance and repair services that improve machine reliability and customer productivityCommunicate professionally with customers regarding equipment concerns and repair recommendationsEnsure all parts used are properly documented and billedComplete work orders and repair documentation promptlyPerform field service work at customer locations as neededAttend manufacturer and company training programsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and policiesAssist with additional service department responsibilities as assigned What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications Technical school degree in Diesel Technology, Agricultural Equipment Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Automotive Technology, or related field; equivalent experience will also be consideredMinimum of 3 years of experience repairing agricultural, heavy equipment, construction, diesel, or related equipmentStrong understanding of:Hydraulic systemsElectrical systemsDiesel enginesMechanical and powertrain systemsDiagnostic software and electronic controlsExperience with John Deere or other major equipment manufacturers is preferredAbility to use dealer business and service management systemsValid driver's license requiredCDL Class A preferred or willingness to obtainAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to safely operate equipment and service vehicles Ideal Candidate You are: Safety-focusedMechanically skilled and detail-orientedA strong problem solverSelf-motivated and dependableCommitted to continuous learningCustomer-focused and professionalComfortable working independently and as part of a team Build Your Career with Koenig Equipment At Koenig Equipment, you're more than an employee.
