Agricultural Credit Analyst (Multiple Levels)
Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial information to support credit decisions, monitor risk, and ensure compliance with bank policy and regulatory standards.
- Supports Relationship Managers and Credit Officers by preparing financial spreads, cash flow analysis, collateral evaluations, and credit memorandums for new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and ongoing portfolio management.
- Develops an understanding of agricultural production cycles, commodity markets, and seasonal cash flow patterns, and applies this knowledge when assessing borrower repayment capacity and risk.
- Works collaboratively with relationship teams to address credit questions, covenant monitoring, and portfolio reviews.
Requirements
- Agricultural Credit Analyst 4: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent underwriting experience. Typically one or more years of underwriting experience.
- Agricultural Credit Analyst 5: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent underwriting experience. Typically three or more years of underwriting experience.
Qualifications
- Strong agricultural credit analysis and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ag credit practices, underwriting, and risk assessment.
- Background in agricultural economics, accounting, or finance.
- Ability to write clear credit summaries and reports.
- Strong communication skills with agricultural clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
- Master’s degree or CPA preferred.

Pay
$86,360.00 - $101,600.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
