Aging & Disability Resource Center Supervisor

About the Role

The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Supervisor works within the Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) of the Department of Human Services. The ADRC is part of Arlington’s Agency on Aging (AAA) and serves as the No Wrong Door (NWD) entry point for information, referrals, options counseling, and emergency assistance for older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers. The supervisor combines clinical expertise, program management, and administrative oversight to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with state and local regulatory requirements. This position reports to the AAA Program Coordinator and provides direct oversight of the ADRC’s day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to guide service delivery and options counseling.
• Manage program operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee administrative functions such as documentation, reporting, and record‑keeping.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing mandated services and standards of care.
• Supervise daily activities of the ADRC, maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with the AAA Program Coordinator and other stakeholders to align services with community needs.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise relevant to aging and disability services.
• Experience in program management and administrative oversight.
• Knowledge of state and local regulatory requirements for mandated services.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage day‑to‑day operations of a resource center.
