Agile Scrum Master

About the role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Scrum Master to be responsible for one or more Scrum teams. This role involves coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, and enabling continuous improvement. The position also includes delivery management and oversight support for key projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader to teams and help resolve impediments.
• Coach the team to achieve sprint goals and timelines, driving adherence to the 'Definition of Ready' and 'Definition of Done'.
• Schedule, facilitate, and coach agile routines and ceremonies, including Sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and PI planning.
• In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team, such as pre-planning preparation and PI planning events, and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums.
• Enable the team to become high-performing through collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement, including working with other scrum teams to define best practices.
• Drive the agile team maturity based on organizational guidelines.
• Provide delivery management for key project deliverables.
• Utilize business analyst experience to help drive the understanding of business needs and analyze solutions by building relationships with business partners.
• Develop an understanding of the Treasury space and the application supported.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an Agile Scrum Master.
• Prior Capital Markets experience in driving technology projects.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products in Fixed Income or Derivatives.
• Proficiency with Jira.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrum Master or PMP certification.
• Experience with Quartz or other trading applications.
• Competency in Python or SQL scripting.
