Agile Program Manager

About the role

The Agile Program Manager oversees all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress. They prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects and lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Act as a delivery lead for day-to-day agile team execution
• Provide program-level oversight across multiple workstreams
• Manage: Labor forecasting and budget reconciliation (true-ups), Weekly program status reporting, Program health tracking (risks, progress vs. plan)
• Translate resource utilization into budget adjustments and planning decisions

Requirements

• 5-8+ years Program/Portfolio management background
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and risk management skills
• Understands data and performance measurement concepts
• Strong Agile experience (scrum-of-scrums, dependency management, incremental planning)
• Strong communicator — drives accountability without hierarchy
• Tech fluent — comfortable working in Jira, Airtable, Power BI, and Snowflake dashboards
• One or more of the following certifications or relevant experience: SAFe Agilist (SA)/Program Consultant (SPC), Advanced Scrum Master (A-CSM), PMI-ACP

Qualifications

• US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in US

Skills

• Program Management experience (beyond project-level execution)
• Strong Agile background (team follows Agile and will remain so)
• Technical understanding, specifically: Familiarity with data engineering / data architecture ecosystems, Exposure to tools like Power BI or Tableau, Ability to understand both custom-built and vendor applications

$80.00 - 90.00/hr

Schedule

Hybrid: Execution-facing (team-level delivery oversight) & Program-level oversight (cross-workstream coordination and reporting)
