About the role
Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
- Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
- Implementing CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
- Achieving Agile development and delivery of software
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders
Requirements
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
Qualifications
- Java, Spring boot or python
- Microservice architectures
- CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker
- Database: NoSQL / MongoDB Query and Schema Design
- OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
- Test frameworks and automation to include Playwright and Cucumber
