Responsibilities

• Enable team productivity as a servant leader
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to remove team impediments
• Coach teams where Agile principles may not yet be fully understood or adopted, and encourage regular discipline and readiness
• Facilitate team meetings and Scrum events

Requirements

• 3+ years of extensive experience using and coaching on estimation, user story writing and sizing, retrospectives, and other Agile techniques
• Strong understanding of the Scrum/Agile events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Experience with the use and configuration of one or more Agile management tools, such as Jira, VersionOne, or Rally
• Experience with a variety of other Agile approaches and concepts, such as Kanban, Lean, XP, and continuous delivery
• Experience with Agile in multi-team organizations
• Excellent communication, collaboration facilitation, and coaching skills—ability to productively converse with business stakeholders and engineers alike
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
• 5+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Coach with proven experience delivering working software
• Willing and determined to learn quickly, function with limited supervision, solve issues, and stay in close communication with teams
• Willing to work in ambiguity
• 10+ years of product, project, or technical leadership in a software development environment

Scrum Master certification is an asset.

Pay

$30,000 - $90,000 a year
