Job Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose problems with crushers and related equipment
- Repair and replace worn or broken parts as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Crusher Mechanic
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Requires walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Heavy work-exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move object
- Requires the use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
- Requires climbing in and out of Ready-Mix and Flatbed Trucks multiple times a day
- Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment
- Exposure to dust, fumes and gases
- Exposure to outside working conditions; to cold or hot temperatures
