This is the annual rate of pay. **Work from Home Requirements** This position is eligible for 50% telecommuting after initial training period and satisfactory job performance. **What we are looking for** A self-motivated individual who responds to and initiates face-to-face, telephone, email, and written communications with policyholders/prospects for the purpose of servicing AFI (includes AFI and AFIA) products.\ **Core Functions\...** Assists Agents with fulfillment of application processing and following up with required documentation. Provides maintenance of AFI policies for retention of membership. **Must haveQualifications** High School Diploma or GED Two years of customer service experience in a financial services environment, or one year satisfactory job performance in clerical support/processing experience with AFI (Associates Degree may be substituted for this requirement) Competent written communications skills Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm **Nice to Have Qualifications** Excellent verbal communications skills, to include a courteous, confident demeanor and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures **What professional education requirements do I need to obtain** Successful completion within 90 days of standardized training in Principles of Insurance, Dwelling Coverages, Homeowner Coverages, and Personal Auto Coverages\* Ability to obtain an agents license within 90 days in the position, and to maintain an unrestricted license thereafter Completion of AINS 101 and AINS 102 within 33 months in the position\*if incumbent did not have prior experience in a position with this requirement*\ **Benefits** Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life & disability insurance including an employee assistance program (EAP) 401(k) including employer match & safe harbor contributions Generous paid time off policy, medical leave, volunteer time off and 9 paid holidays We support employee training and professional development opportunities with a tuition reimbursement program and continuing education and re-certification opportunities Volunteering and community engagement opportunities **Who are we and what we\'re about** Since 1887, Armed Forces Insurance (AFI) has existed with a single, unwavering purpose: To protect the people who protect our nation.
