About the role
The Agency Development Manager will be the face of SafeLease to the brokerage community. Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with high-performing commercial lines agencies and brokers specializing in core and adjacent verticals.
- Onboard and activate producers by training them on using the SafeLease portal and ensuring they are successfully utilizing the platform.
- Manage relationships with producer partners, conduct regular account reviews, provide appetite updates, and gather feedback to improve the product.
- Educate producers on SafeLease’s insurance products and technology advantage, emphasizing data-driven underwriting and faster turnaround times.
- Drive premium growth by owning the entire pipeline from initial submission through to bind, partnering closely with underwriters to prioritize high-quality risks.
- Build distribution/referral relationships with existing property management customers and other relevant industry parties.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years in insurance distribution, agency management, or wholesale brokerage.
- Active surplus lines producer license is preferred (or relevant surplus lines experience).

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
