As an Agency Business Advisor, you will become a trusted partner to new agency owners, helping them craft strong business plans, develop effective sales strategies, and implement best practices. Responsibilities
- Guide new agency owners through the start-up journey, from licensing to successful business launch
- Collaborate with owners to create customized strategies focused on sales, marketing, and customer retention
- Offer practical support for recruiting, onboarding, and training agency staff
- Track early agency performance, conduct regular reviews, and deliver targeted coaching for faster growth
- Recommend operational enhancements, technology solutions, and optimized business processes
- Train agency owners on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, and emerging industry trends
- Mentor and advise new agency owners, helping them overcome challenges and achieve long-term success
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business consulting, sales leadership, or agency operations
- Sharp analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on results
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing several agency partnerships at once
- Willing to obtain insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)
