About the role

C & B Operations is a progressive company that has grown over 35 years to include thirty‑eight John Deere dealerships in six states. We are searching for an experienced Sales Representative at its location in Culbertson, Montana. This position is focused on new business development.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships and expanding customer pipelines
• Implementing strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting within the defined territory
• Creating customer specific proposals based on detailed needs analysis
• Conducting market research to produce competitive comparisons
• Developing and maintaining expertise on industry trends and best practices
• Maintaining sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory
• Maintaining assigned company vehicles and equipment
• Conducting new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitoring trends in customer’s business activities and providing timely communication to management
• Maintaining current knowledge of used equipment values and evaluating equipment properly for trading purposes
• Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
• Attending applicable sales training events/seminars
