Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on agricultural equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal prep on machinery
- Maintain service records and document repairs accurately
- Work closely with farm managers and operators to ensure timely service and minimal downtime
- Operate equipment for testing and calibration purposes
- Order and manage inventory of parts and tools as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed in all repair and maintenance activities
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications preferred)
- 2+ years of experience maintaining agricultural or heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- CDL or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
