Afterschool Part Time Science Teacher
Here’s The Lowdown
During the school year, you’ll need to be available three or more afternoons per week, typically between 4:30–7:30 PM. If you want more SCIENCE in your life, we have extra hours available during no-school days, breaks, and summer camps. For true believers in curiosity and discovery, we also offer morning, early evening, and weekend hours. Skateboards, bikes, and jetpacks are fun, but a reliable car is a must.
Love making a mess with baking soda and vinegar? Perfect. Believe kids learn best by doing? Even better.
What You’ll Do
- Teach hands-on science classes and camps to children ages 4–12 (lesson plans and materials provided).
- Engage students as they build rockets, mix polymers, make slime, grow crystals, and explore how the world works.
- Set up, teach, and clean up classes while keeping the environment fun, safe, and exciting.
Who You Are
- 18 years or older
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and great with kids
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and keeping energy high
- Passionate about STEM education and making science come alive
- Bonus points if you’ve taught, tutored, or worked with children before
Here’s What You Get
