Afterschool Babysitter for Kindergarten and Elementary Children

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and warm afterschool babysitter to care for our two children, a 10-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC area.

Schedule

This ongoing position requires availability on Mondays and Thursdays from around 2:45 PM until the parent returns home in the evening.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up the children from two schools on Andrews Store Road (approximately 5 minutes apart)
• Assist with homework
• Provide snacks
• Supervise playtime
• Ensure general safety and well-being until the parent arrives

Requirements

• Own reliable transportation and be comfortable driving with children
• Experience with young kids
• Punctual and dependable
• Able to provide references
• Pass a background check

No pets are present in the household.
