Afterschool Babysitter for Elementary-Aged Children

About the role

We are seeking a warm, energetic, and organized babysitter with significant childcare experience to care for our three kids in Montclair, New Jersey: 7-year-old twins and a 4-year-old.

Responsibilities

• Meet the twins at the school bus
• Prepare snacks and assist with homework
• Drive the twins to after-school activities using our car
• Pick up the 4-year-old from school using our car
• Create a fun and structured after-school environment
• Occasionally assist with dinner, bath, and bedtime when parents have evening commitments

Requirements

• Significant childcare experience
• Commitment for the full 2026-2027 school year
• Own transportation to our home (you will use our car for child-related driving)

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Frequent opportunities for additional evening/bedtime sitting and weekends if interested.

Pay

$30 per hour.
