Afterschool Babysitter for Kindergarten and Elementary Age Children

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and warm afterschool babysitter for our two children, aged 10 and 5, in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. The position will begin on September 3, 2026, and will be ongoing on Mondays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Pick up children from two schools located on Andrews Store Rd (Chatham Grove and Willow Oak Montessori)
• Provide homework help
• Prepare snacks
• Engage in playtime
• Offer general supervision until parents return home

Schedule

Care will start around 2:45 PM with school pickups and continue at our home until approximately 9:45 PM on Mondays and Thursdays.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and comfort driving with children
• Experience with young kids
• Punctuality and dependability
• References and a background check required

No pets are present in our household.
